Scoliosis is defined as a lateral spinal curvature with a Cobb angle of 10° or more . Idiopathic scoliosis forms 80% of coronal structural deformities. Deformity causes coronal, sagittal and axial plane imbalance. Idiopathic scoliosis is divided into three sub-groups due to age groups; infantile (0-3 years), juvenile (4-9 years), adolescent (10 years of age - until maturity). Surgery should be considered for progresive deformities and progressive neurological deficits despite conservative treatment. Patients with idiopathic scoliosis should be evaluated due to patients age, degree of curvature, and in the present condition of the patient.
